It’s that time of the year again-to start investing in some white denim, of course!  Personally, I’m a fan of wearing white denim all year round, but some people seem to really stand by the ‘no denim before Memorial Day’ rule (read myth); so this post is intended for those who are in search of that perfect pair for the season!  I still have a great pair of AG white denim that is more of a legging jean and is a low rise, which is a really comfortable fit, however I wanted to find another pair that was a little more sporty and summery.  This J Brand pair is a thicker denim, high-waisted and has some ripped detailing in the front.  The high-rise aspect of the pant was a little bit daunting at first: think early 90’s acid washed denim that goes up to your belly button, but these jeans actually looked really timeless and classic with a higher rise.  I styled them with my top falling lower, so you can’t fully see how high the denim goes but I will for sure be doing a post showing the entire rise.   Whichever way you style them, they are a great pair of denim and worthy of your summer pick! Another great addition to your summer wardrobe is a loose fitting silk top.  I got this Equipment one in an icy blue that borders on white and it is the perfect cool color for the summer.  To keep with the casual-cool look of this outfit, I paired it with my lace up sandals, Ray-Ban aviators, and some stacked bracelets.  I love wearing my DVF red tote to bring that splash of color to the look.  I felt so street cool wearing this look and received several compliments on it!  Show me your street cool, for the summer, by using the hashtag: #mystilettosummer.
