This post is dedicated to a friend, Reed Whittaker: who lost his life far too soon.

In the last few weeks there have been some amazing holiday deals out there and I’ve made sure to capitalize on them.  For a few months now, I had been looking for the perfect pair of coated denim.  They are slick, give the illusion of leather and can easily be casual or dressy.  So during the Black Friday sales I came across a great deal at Joe’s Jeans and got the pair I am wearing in the post (love the ruching detail).  Not only did I get the denim at Joe’s, but my savvy shopping eye spotted the black stilettos I’m wearing so I picked those up there as well!  Every woman needs a pair of black closed toe stilettos during winter-they match with almost everything and make putting together an outfit effortless!  To top the outfit off I paired the denim with a vibrant A.L.C. blouse (Intermix), my deep purple Club Monaco hat (no longer available, similar one below), and a tuxedo Michael Kors blazer.

Of course I would be remiss not to mention the phenomenal jewelry I am wearing.  A few weeks ago I attend a wholesale (just writing that word excites me!) gem show with my mom and we picked up the goodies I am wearing in the post: a serpent ring with ruby eyes, a garnet (my birthstone) ring that illuminates in the light and a gold-plated amethyst necklace (that I designed!).  (If you are interested in that piece, please contact me directly as they can be available for custom orders.)  These are all one of a kind pieces so I can’t give you the link to them, but I have some suggestions for similar ones below!  There are still lots of holiday deals so get on it!
