A Tale of Two Shoes

Once upon a time there were a pair of flats and a pair of stilettos. . .

. . . and they found themselves in San Francisco at the Palace of Fine Arts.   One being Parisian, the Repettos, and the other being New Yorkers, Barney’s NY Co-Op: they were far from home.  Luckily, they found themselves styled to perfection and there were no worries in the world.

The End

It’s all good in the land of flats and stilettos!  To get to my post: I absolutely swear by Repettos, who are the makers of ballet toe shoes in Paris and they truly make you feel precious and delicate! I first found them while shopping at Bergdorf Goodman’s (bergdorfgoodman.com) a couple years ago-and have maintained my love ever since. This particular pair is a taupe color that is perfect for any outfit.

To pair with my shoes, I chose a high-waisted skirt with a long sleeve chambray top (madewell.com) which brings a casual cool element to the outfit.  My skirt is 10 Crosby Lane by Derek Lam which I wore in a previous post but is no longer available, however you can find similar versions from other brands on Shopbob.com (see my shop guide in next post).

I also love when my nail polish perfectly matches an outfit!  It’s Essie in “Borrowed and Blue.”  Adore.
