Only the best for Kimye and Baby North this Christmas, right?  I love seeing the new fangled ways Kanye tries to prove that he’s an artist and highly cultured.  The first was when he boldly claimed, in a recent interview, that he invented the leather track pant several years ago.  Right.  The next was when he went off on Jimmy Kimmel claiming he had been the first person to put out any kind of ‘honest media,’ etc.  And just the general name dropping: Anna Wintour, Givenchy, etc.  I can’t.  

I think this one ices the proverbial cake, however: Kanye commissioned artist, George Condo, to hand paint a Birkin for his baby mama Kim Kardashian.  The hand painting aside, and the uniqueness of the bag, it’s a clear knock off of a Salvador Dalí/Picasso/Gauguin and far beyond Kim’s cultural knowledge.  Though, she proudly totes it as if she were Queen Elizabeth.
