In preparation for Girls’ season 3 premiere I have been re-watching seasons 1 & 2 to get myself back into the Girls state of mind.  Besides, the fact that watching this show has made me super excited for the new season, I find myself enjoying different parts of the show that I had originally not cared for (Booth Jonathan, hello!). Anyhow, the leading ladies of Girls attended their premiere party last night with quite the fashion statements and to add a bit of a retrospective to the night, Lena Dunham posted pictures of their two previous premieres; and it’s quite the fashion evolution.  

I personally think they killed it at the season two premiere (2nd picture down).  Lena’s chic black and white jumpsuit is a perfect piece for her personality and figure.  Allison Williams took it to another level with her sleek black dress with gold embellishments.  I nearly conflated Jemima Kirke and her Girls character as the velvet floor-length dress is something that Jessa would undoubtedly wear and lastly, Zosia Mamet looked playful in her black and white frock with a ruffle twist.
