I packed my stiletto’s and headed down to SoCal last week and attended a fabulous wedding shower for my friend Michele, visited friends in LA LA Land and even made a trip to my alma mater!  The first set of pictures is from Michele’s unconventional wedding shower (everyone has a photo booth, a cover band singing “Blurred Lines”, and copious amounts of food and wine at their wedding shower, right?).  HA!  The unconventional fun and glamour of this shower, which was created by Linsey of Lux Events and Design as well as Vanessa, Michele’s sister, are what made it an eventful evening! Vanessa requested that all the guests wear their ‘little black dress’ while the bride-to-be stood out in red!

After a wonderful wedding shower in Orange County, I headed to LA to visit friends, my alma mater and do some Housewives and celebrity stalking-of course!  My first stop was a trip to the NBC lot where my friend Perry works as a Publicist (#killingit).  Next I went for an evening stroll around UCLA which was truly a nostalgic experience-so much has changed but yet the sights, smells and memories remain; I found myself remembering what I would be doing on campus about 6 or so years ago.  Later in the trip, I galavanted around Beverly Hills to do some shopping and enjoy some good eats because no trip to LA is complete without a stroll through downtown BH!
