I wanted to share a design I sketched a couple weeks ago for a design contest I entered which was a collaboration between Elle Magazine and Byco.  Sadly I did not win, but my takeaway was far greater than any win because entering the contest really inspired me to tap into my drawing and designing again (I did study at Parsons after all!).

I’m sure it is evident from my blog posts that I love to create original content centered around my personal style or how I put together a collage, but one of my other passions is for design and innovation.

 “Sassy in Silk” is a high-low silk charmeuse dress with cut-outs on the arms that truly emulates my love for a classic silhouette with some modern elements.
