Getting Gingham With It. . .
So Will Smith got ‘jiggy wit it’ and I’m getting ‘gingham with it,’ because I’m a fashionista and I really can’t pull on the ‘wit’ part. I am pretty tried and true when it comes to my English pronunciation.
If you haven’t gotten ‘gingham with it’ this summer, you’re about to! Gingham is all the rage and I love a good trend. I first noticed this trend a couple months ago but couldn’t decide just how I wanted to approach it (yes, this is my inner monologue when it comes to fashion.). I spotted this Equipment blouse originally in the cami form and really loved it–however, I thought it might make more sense to get it with sleeves for the cooler days. So I went with the same print, different style, still by Equipment.
Since I have been living in these J Brand white denim pants, they were the obvious choice to pair with a white and black top. I also love the crisp look white pants provide. I added my black suede stilettos (which are a great staple black pair of heels), and my other new addition to my wardrobe: a See by Chloé purse. Could this purse be more fabulous?! I snatched up this purse when Net-A-Porter was having their massive sale. It’s a beautiful summer piece, with its pastel yellow and simple refined style.
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed that I recently got my hair cut! I had been waiting some time to get my hair colored and cut and boy, does it feel good! This length is super new to me. . . I have almost exclusively been a long-haired gal. (Except when I went through the Jennifer Aniston ‘Rachel’ phase–don’t lie you did it too #goodtimes.) Anyways, I am thrilled with the look and love the lightweight feel. Stay tuned for a hair post coming soon!
Have a great week Everyone and get this look below!
