The Ultimate Guide to the Four Seasons Napa Valley

Rolling hills: check, gorgeous trees: check: miles of vineyards: check: bungalow style rooms with two large pools, spa and a restaurant: check, check, and check!

The newest resident on the block: the Four Seasons Napa Valley is all that and more.

I had been eyeing this property on Instagram once it was announced it would be open in fall of 2021 and as soon as there was a reason to visit: I snagged a reservation at their restaurant: The Living Room at Truss. While I didn’t have the pleasure of staying there (yet) just taking in the ambiance from the restaurant was magic.

Tucked away in Calistoga: the furthest city north in the Napa Valley, Calistoga is a smaller community but boasts some of the finest hotels and spas.

Its adorable downtown is a perfect place for a stroll. Calistoga is the perfect place to retreat in Napa to get some quiet time in a gorgeous setting.

So opening a Four Seasons there makes perfect sense! This property did not disappoint. Its sprawling estate can be seen from the restaurant deck with two large pools in the middle and vineyards, walkways and bungalows lining them. The mountainous backdrop was something out of the European countryside.

I loved every second of the ambiance and it was an absolutely perfect place to spend Thanksgiving with their pre fix menu, generous portions and exquisite food.

I of course opted for an espresso martini — holidays always call for a special cocktail. From an egg custard with truffle flakes to a turkey breast confit with all the Thanksgiving fixing and a pumpkin pie tart to round out the evening.

I highly recommend making a reservation at the Four Seasons Napa Valley either at the hotel or just the restaurant!
