Time for some fall layers — fall always requires layers as it’s just chilly enough to warrant a scarf and a coat but still warm enough to show a little skin. My top and infinity scarf are amazing pieces from Marine Layer and they are the perfect winter layering pieces.  I love the quilted detailing of the sweater.  

I paired these pieces with a dark wash J Brand denim, booties and my favorite bucket bag.  I was on the hunt for the perfect bucket bag and finally stumbled upon this one at a local boutique in the East Village: Pas de Deux.  It’s by design house Building Block out of Los Angeles–its staunch shape and conceptual style really struck me and I haven’t really stopped toting it since I purchased it.
