Cookies, Coffee, and Culottes: the three “C’s” as I like to call them!  One really can’t go without the other.  

This weekend I stopped by one of my favorite coffee and cookie shops in NYC: Birtdbath (owned by The City Bakery, previously Vesuvio Bakery).  They have hot chocolate with home-made marshmallows, cookies bigger than my head and delicious coffee.  This location is nestled into a Soho side street, which makes it the perfect pit-stop in between shopping (neighbors include Club Monaco, J. Crew, and Benefit Brow Bar).

Now on to the third “C:” culottes.  I’ve been going through a very serious culotte phase.  Sadly, culotte season is quite a short one  (I don’t love the way they look with tights, so wearing them in winter is essentially not an option) thus Fall and Spring are really the best times to wear culottes out and about.  This particular pair of culottes are actually the bottom half of a v-neck jumpsuit.  I’ve debated wearing this jumpsuit a few ways–some of which will come in later style shots but for this casual outing, under a cozy sweater, was a perfect match.  I purchased this sweater on Shopbop and I have been living in it, non-stop.  This The Fifth Label Sweater is the perfect color and length and looks good with denim or black pants.  If you’re looking for a versatile sweater to wear this winter season–I would grab it!

I topped off this look with my auburn hat from Jigsaw London and my always trusty Christian Louboutins.
