I am feeling so luscious in lace!  This pencil skirt from Marchesa’s Voyage collection is an absolute dream. It’s sophisticated, romantic and the perfect winter color.  I love the look of pairing a loose sweater with a fitted pencil skirt and this look can easily go from day-to-night.  I paired it with a classic pair of Louboutin stilettos to emphasize the romantic look that is very much my style, however, the shoes could be switched out to alter the look for any event you’re attending.

Ok, I know what you’re thinking: Marchesa–gorgeous, but out of my price range!  Well, lucky for you, this skirt, along with a matching cropped top, was designed exclusively for Rent the Runway’s 5th anniversary (congrats!).  You can easily rent this skirt for much less than the retail value!  It’s great for a cocktail party, a fancy brunch, or even a more casual holiday party.  It is also adorable with the matching top.

As for my sweater–it’s J Brand and I got it at Saks during their recent sale, it looks amazing with jeans or skirts and the blush color lends itself to versatility.  (See how I styled it here as well.)

Hope this helps kick off your romantic winter looks and stay tuned for some (very) serious holiday looks!
