What to Wear to your Birthday Dinner in the Winter
Anyone else have a winter birthday? Well don’t worry because this is the ultimate guide for what to wear to you winter birthday!
My winter birthday is on January 25th and I am not going to let those cold temps or rain here in San Francisco get me down – there are so many cute looks to wear to your birthday dinner or party!
Of course the winter season can be a challenge because of the temperature dropping but finding the perfect outfit for a memorable birthday dinner in the winter will be easy with my style guide!
Let’s start with the birthday plans!
Whether you’re planning a cozy dinner at home or a night out on the town there are a lot of birthday outfits you can wear in the winter!
This year I am going to the live podcast show of Two Teas in a Pod hosted by Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge both from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Orange County respectively. This is going to be a fun and silly night out in San Francisco. Since it’s a Bravo event I have to dress up!
In other years – I have had brunch with friends, a trip to Vegas – which was one of my favorites and the outfits for Vegas are the best to plan for!
Not every year has to be an over the top celebration but you can always wear something that makes you feel special and good on your birthday!

Dressing for your birthday celebration this winter
Since it is winter but post holiday – chose a sequin dress that screams party but not holiday party. For this kind of distinction I think a silver sequin dress that is a mini dress does the trick – see a super cute one below!
If it’s super cold out – pair the mini dress with a fancy tight and boots – if you can go without tights: try a classic white stiletto or heel.
Add a touch of glam with statement accessories and a bold lip color.
If you’re feeling more feminine, try a solid colored midi dress in a lighter color – black is great for winter but sometimes a winter white, floral or pastel color is a fashion do on your birthday!
For the snowy or frigedly cold winter climate like NYC (and I have celebrated birthdays there too) – a coat is a must have so dress it up with a faux fur coat and ankle boots which will make you look effortlessly elegant.
Looking to dress more casual on your birthday?
How about a designer pair of pair of fitted jeans with a cozy oversized sweater and ankle boots will keep you comfortable and stylish throughout the evening.
This winter, don’t let the cold weather stop you from looking fabulous at your birthday dinner.
With these stylish outfit ideas, you’ll be sure to make a lasting impression.
So get ready to strut your stuff and celebrate in style!
