I’m all about shorts this summer!  Typically, I am a dress or skirt girl, but I have been leaning more towards shorts lately.  I love that they provide a crisp look but are still playful and fun.  This look was centered around weekend wear. . .whether you’re going to the Hamptons or Tahoe, for your weekend getaway–you want to have an easy look to wear while there and traveling there.  I recently bought this Stella & Dot yellow/canvas tote and it has been a great summer bag.  You can throw a lot of stuff in it and it’s really cute! Always bring a tote with you while on vacation–it’ll be a lifesaver.  I also always bring a smaller bag like my Marc by Marc Jacobs satchel for my essentials (wallet, keys, lipstick, phone, flask–ha) that I want to have ready to go.

This look can be worn for any weekend getaway but it is also a super cute look for the upcoming 4th of July holiday!  I’m sure you’ll be wearing some variation of this look all weekend long!  Have a Happy 4th Everyone and take a peek at my suggestions below to help you find the perfect look!
