Pops of Color!

Just because it’s cold, doesn’t mean the pops of color have to go away!  I know the general uniform in NYC is all black and I do enjoy a classic all black look; however, I never miss a chance to spice up my outfit with some color.

I sported this red coat all over NYC during NYFW and it has been quite the success.  Colored coats in red and blush tones, were a noticeable street trend, so I was excited to be wearing my version of the trend. Aside from being on trend, this coat has kept me plenty warm through this nutty weather I have been experiencing while here: snow, rain, ice, repeat!

In styling this outfit, I wanted to keep it casual/cool, so I paired it with boyfriend jeans, a loose fitting black sweater and some cold weather accessories: a blush beanie and a cashmere scarf. Accessorizing with a long necklace pendent (by the fabulous Marrin Costello), colorful sunnies, and a shoulder bag!  I have plenty of great suggestions, below, on how to get this look!
