A couple of weeks ago I popped into Barneys NY in SF after seeing a post on Instagram telling fans to come in and meet Barneys’ “Creative Ambassador” and get a signed copy of his new book!  Well, if you know me, I love meeting an industry person or a celebrity (chased a few down in my day or ate their leftover risotto-James Marsden. . .).  Pardon me, I digress.  Anyhow, it was really a treat to chat with someone who has been working in the fashion industry for so long and I am currently reading his book “The Asylum,” where he likens the fashion industry to a psychiatric ward; I’m sure none of us were surprised by that analogy!
