TV Show Round up this week…

I will start out by saying it has been an action packed week so far in terms of TV. Glee was back after a one week hiatus (which I am still a little perturbed by considering they were gone for about 2 months, then came back for a week and need ANOTHER break)?! Ugh. Sorry, I digress, so Glee is back, Keeping up with the Kardasians was a miserable fail (shocked right? No, not at all). However, the show that is really giving me a lot to talk about is: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion Part 1 (one hour will not due with these ladies).
Keeping Up:

Kim K is at such an eternal struggle with her 5 minute marriage that she feels the need to tell her husband that his stuff is not welcomed in HER house. I’m sorry that huge ring he bought you is allowed on your finger, but now he wants to move in and you won’t allow it? That’s WEIRD. Watching her cry about it after was just pure comedy and of course they need another hotel room just for their clothes and make-up…conveniently Kris has no access to that room. All in all, Kim makes a ‘heartfelt’ decision not to let the cameras film her dumping talking it out with Kris. Kim’s version of ‘talking it out’ is going straight home to LA, telling Kris she’s going to her mom’s house but really going straight to her divorce lawyer. So ends an uneventful season and the existence of Kris Humphries. Wish we could say the same about Kim.

Glee:

Now Glee is an all time favorite of mine. I feel like I am in middle school again performing on stage watching those kids belt out some of those show tunes. However, this week, it was an utter disappointment. I have a strong belief that whenever they do episodes dedicated to only one artist the episode is typically a bore and loses sight of the story line. The only time there was an exception to this was the Madonna episode which still is one of my faves. However, the Michael Jackson episode just wanted to cram as many MJ songs as it could instead of picking different songs to support the stroy line. Thus we are left with an obnoxious showdown between Santana and new Warblers pretty boy…what’s his name?

Also I don’t believe for a SECOND that Quinn got into Yale and has unbeknowst to the viewer has been maintaining a straight ‘A’ average. Hell no! This is slander! Quinn is going to work at the local Dairy Queen or some equivalent of that next year (or at least that was her story line last season). Also I don’t care to comment much on the whole Finn proposal and Rachel acceptance debacle except that it’s a sham of a story line and hopefully Ryan Murphy and his team of writers will sort that out before they graduate.

Now to the Heavy Hitters: RHOBH Reunion

So part 1 of the reunion has begun and Andy Cohen has gotten right to the heavy hitting questions:

1. Taylor’s abusive relationship
2. Kim Richard’s recent admission to rehab
3. Adrienne slash Lisa slash Bernie the chef’s drama

Ok I will start with Kim Richards. Here’s what I don’t get: why can’t we still do a video montage of the Sh*t Kim Ricahrds Says? Just cause she’s in rehab she’s off limits? She said way to many ridiculous things for them not to be commented on. #marlinfisherman #shinypinklipglossinmypurse (yes that was a vibrator). Andy come on, I know you want to talk about it…PS I coined the phrase: ‘Sh*t Kim Richards Says.’

So the whole Bernie slash Lisa fight is a complete joke. Bernie clearly wanted to be noticed on the show so he decided to talk badly about Lisa just enough for the producers to see a storyline there. Adrienne your chef is the fame whore (not Lisa) furthermore, Adrienne, how long have you been harboring this resentment towards Lisa? Jealous much? Accusing Lisa of anything is like Fergie (the Duchess not Black Eyed Peas) trying to sell access to her Prince ex-husband (Andrew): the Queen will come down on you and guess what, no invite to the Royal Wedding of the century. Yup Adrienne you dug your own grave. Also the one shoulder purple ombre top is only suitable for those performing at the Palms, in a show, which would require the spectator to be on acid. Just saying.

I give Lisa huge props for standing her ground. She knows her self worth and she does make the ‘rules in Beverly Hills.’

The whole issue with Taylor is disturbing and hard to hear about, although it also is hard to fully accept it as fact. Yes she is writing a tell all book, and yes she opened up about a lot of the abuse on the Reunion but it still is a little hard to trust Taylor fully. She has never showed strong character as an individual and I can’t wait to see her go up against Brandi (no shame in slashing her ex’s tires). Word to the wise Taylor: let Kyle fight your battles she’s far better at it than you.

Personally I love me some Kyle. If there had been reality TV in her heydey she would have been on top of it (even more than her niece). Kyle is a bad b*tch even if she does have ‘mean girl’ tendencies.

Ok more on the ongoing reunion next week and look for my post on MTV’s the challenge. That’s on tonight and it always has some fun drama. Ha!
