Labor Day is on the horizon and you’ll need this ultimate guide to wearing white after Labor Day!

Yes, you can. I have firmly, always been a believer of white after Labor Day – September and October are the warmest months (especially in the Bay Area!): so a lightweight white dress or embroidered top with white denim is always on the table.

Can you Wear White After Labor Day? Yes!

I have said many times before, I don’t abide by the “no white after Labor Day” rule and if you’re a true fashionista you won’t either!

Wearing white after Labor Day is totally fine – you might wear your white in a different way. Winter whites is a whole other category of white wearing! Try white with a thicker material on a sweater, with lace, or as a long coat!

Wearing white clothing is not limited to just the days between Memorial Day and Labor Day!

Wearing white jeans after Labor Day is great too! Sometimes the warmest days are in September!

White is a fresh and bright color and I’m not trading it in for Fall hues just yet…

White is also a great way to ring in the new year and as luck would have it Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, typically lands in September.

To add that pop of color to my all white outfit I added red and neon accents!  From my red Mac lipstick to my red DVF tote to my red Joie stilettos.

My bracelet is from J.Crew where you can always count on a fun piece of statement jewelry!   I also changed up my hair by doing a loose side braid.  I almost always wear my hair down and this is a nice way to change it up but still have it down!

My skirt is Rag & Bone and its’ gore design gives it the perfect flare. It also has a great textured design.  My top is J. Crew and just like the bracelet it has some bling, which gives you a shirt and an accessory all in one!

My red tote is an older style so it’s not for sale anymore but check out this curated collection of other red totes: always a great statement piece!
