Summer Style Guide: Shorts to Wear for 4th of July Weekend

I’m all about shorts this summer and the 4th of July weekend is the best time to wear a blue denim short and get into the holiday spirit!

Typically, I am a dress or skirt girl, but these are the cutest shorts to wear on the 4th of July weekend and it’s a great look for this casual backyard and firework holiday!

I love that they provide a crisp look but are still playful and fun. This look was centered around weekend wear. . .whether you’re going to the Hamptons or Tahoe, for your weekend getaway–you want to have an easy look to wear while there and traveling there.

I recently bought this great yellow/canvas tote and it has been a great summer bag.

You can throw a lot of stuff in it and it’s really cute!

Always bring a tote with you while on vacation–it’ll be a lifesaver.

I also always bring a smaller bag like my Marc by Marc Jacobs purse for my essentials (wallet, keys, lipstick, phone, flask–ha) that I want to have ready to go.

This look can be worn for any weekend getaway but it is also a super cute look for the upcoming 4th of July holiday!
