The Most Gorgeous Dresses, Shoes and Hats for Spring
With springtime in full swing, this style guide is giving you dresses, shoes and hats for spring!
I’m a creature of habit when it comes to my style, so even though I am often seen in new looks and pieces: once I find a great piece — like the fringe Cult Gaia purse, I’ll wear it quite a bit. (I figure if Kate Middleton can repeat looks — so can I!)
Here are the best dresses, shoes and hats for Spring:
Floral Wrap Dresses are perfect for Spring
As Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep’s character in The Devil Wears Prada) so eloquently put it: florals for spring, groundbreaking. Yup! It’s basic, but hey, it works.
A floral wrap dress will always do the trick for a family gathering, brunch or just a walk in the park!
Espadrilles are the perfect shoe for spring!
Spring time is the time to start wearing espadrilles.
My most recent and beloved pair are by CastaΓ±er: they fit like a glove and match with everything. The one linked are a classic style and will always be a great choice for spring or summer!
A Backpack/Purse for Spring
I love a good twofer – two for one! I’ve never taken the plunge and owned a backpack/purse before but I couldn’t be happier I have one now. (Thanks to Rebecca Minkoff for the gift!) With the warmer weather, having an item that is so resourceful for weekend trips or walks with Roo (my dog) is really nice and highly functional.
Hats
Hats are really great for any season but in spring you want a lightweight hat, that’s a pastel color. Save those dark heavy hats for winter.
Fringe Purses
This year’s Cult Gaia fringe purse is last year’s Cult Gaia acrylic purse. Remember the blogger purse (which I wrote about last year).
I initially bought two colors (of the fringe purse) and thought I would send one back but I ended up liking both so much (likely story!). So I made the hard, but obvious decision, to kept them both…ha! The lightweight fringe is a spring necessity.
