5 Activities (for Singles) on Valentine’s Day
So, you’re single: me too! Valentine’s Day is the notoriously cheesy Hallmark holiday — where couples are supposed to spend the day or evening professing their love to each other. I like the cute cheesy stuff but if you’re single you may not be looking forward to Valentine’s Day or it doesn’t even really register. I have spent nearly all my Valentine’s Day single, so both of those sentiments resonate with me.
So why not spend the day or evening spending time and money on the one person you should: yourself!
Here are 5 activities (for singles) on Valentine’s Day.
5 Valentine’s Day Activities:
1. Get some friends together and go out for dinner and drinks. Maybe even tie one on!
2. Order a heart shaped pizza and share with friends: watching movies and drinking wine. Honestly, those pizzas look amazing and you can get a great photo for the gram!
3. Go to a movie. The perfect distraction and you can catch up on those Oscar winning films.
4. Take yourself out to dinner and sit at the bar. Sitting at the bar is the ideal way to enjoy a meal solo and you will likely strike up a conversation with someone else eating there or the bartender! Some of my favorite meals have been while sitting at the bar.
5. Go shopping — shopping always gives me endorphins and puts me in a genuinely good mood. Maybe you can even treat yourself to a Wetzel’s Pretzels. Actually: definitely get yourself a pretzel, with extra cheese sauce.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
