As I mentioned in my post last week, I was off to the mountains to go camping.  I also mentioned, I’m not much of camper so of course my outfit to drive up to the woods was a pair of white shorts.  Upon arrival to the camp site, everyone basically thought I was out of my mind for wearing white–but, hey, you can take the fashionista out of the city, but you can’t take the city out of the fashionista!  Ok, I’ll be honest–yes these shorts got dirt on them but that’s what dry cleaning and or bleach is for–right?!

 So on our way up, we stopped at a fruit stand which seemed to be the perfect backdrop for a shoot–I love the bold colors and open look the fruit stand provided.  I also felt silky smooth in this top from French Connection that I picked up in NYC.  I paired it with these Banana Republic shorts, wedges, and colorful Ray-Ban sunglasses and I was road trip ready!    Get my look below and also see some of the pieces that French Connection has right now–not to mention a great sale they’re having.
