Looks like I’m falling for Fall. . .

With summer over and cooler weather imminently on our heels or stilettos rather, I can’t help but keep adding more fall staples to my wardrobe.  I posted a collage a few weeks ago entitled Fall Must Have with some great pieces for fall and this post is an addition to those items.

I spent Sunday up in wine country and was able to use the scenic and quaint neighborhoods as the backdrop for this post; and being that it was in the country, I knew that my latest fall accessory: an oversized hat (another must have!), would be the perfect pairing.  My other accoutrements for fall are a casual t-shirt and a leather skirt. The loose fitting top with stripes is a trend I’m loving right now: they provide a classic element to any outfit. And you can’t go wrong with black and white. The top that I’m wearing comes in various colors and pairs perfectly with a fitted bottom piece (see details below).  This sleek and smooth DVF leather skirt is the perfect compliment to a loose fitting top.  This skirt is generally a very versatile piece that can dress up any outfit. Even though I am in the Northern California’s wine country, in this post, if I close my eyes and click my Prada satin stilettos together I will almost certainly find myself sipping a cappuccino in front of the Eiffel Tower.
