Guess Reese Couldn’t Actually ‘Walk the Line’

Reese Witherspoon and hubby Jim Toth were arrested last week in Atlanta, GA! Drams! Jim was apparently over the legal drinking limit and Reese was just plain irreverent!  Reese being the passenger, was not being interrogated for her intoxication level but she eventually was taken in for disorderly conduct: Girl’s got a mouth on her!  The usually reserved and demure Southern Belle mouthed-off to the cop with these statements:

“Do you know my name?” and “You (meaning the cop) are going to be on national news.” (These quotes were taken directly from the police report.)

Oh Honey, no, you’re about to be on national news and by national news she clearly meant E! News and the slew of entertainment mags, not to mention Makeitstop! ; ) At this point the cop still has yet to be put on the spotlight so looks like Reese’s drunken prediction was wrong on that one.

Of course, Reese was able to get out of jail in time to make an appearance at her new movie premiere: “Mud,” but has since cancelled appearances on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”.  I think staying quiet until the whole thing settles down is the best thing for the couple to do.  See you in court Reese!

The title of the post doesn’t make sense because it was Johnny Cash (not June Carter Cash) who claimed he’d "walk the line." Also, Reese Witherspoon wouldn’t have had to walk the line during the incident because she wasn’t the driver (her hubby was).
