Ciao Bellos!  I’m back from my trip to Italy (which you probably found out about if you follow me on Instagram and Snapchat) and I am going to divulge in the ultimate travel guide for Italy and recommend things to do in Italy – as a first time tourist!

Here is a little glimpse of things to do in Italy.

I have a lot of photos to sift through and I am excited to create all the posts for you from what I wore, to what I ate, to where I toured.  So this is a preview of my trip in photos and much more to come! Enjoy!

Starting in Rome – is always a great place to start when it’s your first time to the country. Piazza Navona offers a gorgeous fountain and is lined with outdoor cafes. It has a curious shape as it used to be a horse track.

Of course when in Rome so as the Romans and enjoy wine and pasta in the Piazza Navona.

Visit the Trevi Fountain

The famous Trevi fountain is worth a visit despite the crowds (go early for photo ops sans anyone). It’s nestled in Rome’s cobblestoned streets and it’s a gorgeous sight.

What else but the magnificent Trevi Fountain in Rome!

Tour the Colosseum:

Arguably one of the most famous places to visit in Rome and Italy. It’s living history.

A visit to Florence is a must

An adorable town with so much art history – from paintings to statues (hello Michelangelo!): it’s worth a couple days in of itself. Plus is super lively and fun – a lot of tourist visit Florence so there are interesting people to meet everywhere you go.

A delicious pizza in Florence plus an aperol spritz!

What to Wear in Italy in the Summer:

Italy is warm in the summer and calls for espadrilles, lightweights tops, shorts, dresses (with lemons), skirts and more!

Strolling Trastevere wearing: Club Monaco (top), Ariztia (shorts), Tory Burch (shoes), and my purse.

Visit Venice

A visit to Venice while in Italy is a must – it’s an absolutely gorgeous place to experience. There is truly nothing like it in the world. A peek into a idyllic Venice canal.
