Why designer sunglasses are a must-have for fashionistas
Designer sunglasses are actually really great quality and are worth the sometimes $400 and up cost – they do last however and are typically timeless. If you want a style that is classic stick to a traditional wide frame and pick a brown or black color – these colors match everything and never go out of style.
Top designer sunglasses brands
Some of the best designer sunglasses are made by Gucci, Prada and Chloe – in my opinion. Gucci is always classic and you can get a gorgeous cheetah like print (See mine in the image below). Prada is a more upscale serious look – but also has some quirky fun cat eye white outline sunnies as well. Chloe is more of a girly aesthetic often using blush or neutral tones.
For more fun sunglasses to wear for a specific event or to style sunglasses with a specific outfit – like I did above for a friends recent wedding in Sweden: go with Balenciaga or Versace.
Caring for your designer sunglasses
I started keeping my sunglasses in the original cases they come in – designer glasses usually come in a very nice hard case with a microfiber cloth to use to clean them from time to time. Don’t throw any of that away! It’s part of the premium you pay for designer sunglasses.
I also use an organizational tub to store them – seen here in my Amazon storefront!
Where to buy designer sunglasses
My favorite places to buy them are from Shopbop or Nordstrom (especially during the Nsale!)
Conclusion: Embrace the world of designer sunglasses
