The Ultimate Guide for Clashing Patterns For Fall
Fall is in the air as it’s the start of London Fashion Week, and I am wearing clashing patterns for fall. In honor of LFW, I thought it was fitting to post about some of my favorite British brands. No, I am not attending London Fashion Week (although it is on my to-do list: one of these years) but, this year, I am merely an observer and following along.
NYFW just ended and it truly was an absolute success and a whirlwind of a week! ย If you haven’t had a chance to see my whereabouts–check out my NYFW week posts now. ย
Aside from the flurry of shows, parties, and events, My Stiletto Life was fortunate to be included in some great NYFW articles.
StyleList (AOL) named me as one of 25 fashion bloggers to follow on Instagramย and Gotham Magazine interviewed me for a fantastic piece onย 10 fashion bloggers‘ย NYFW experiences. ย
I hope you all had time to check out the pieces.
Now onto my outfit:
In this look, I am wearing a striped Topshop dress, a Reiss hat, and Rebecca Minkoff stilettos. Topshop and Reiss are both exceptional fashion brands based out of London and always bring charm and style to their clothes. Topshop, is often very girly, fun, and trendy whereas Reiss is much more classic and ladylike–Reiss happens to be a favorite of the Duchess of Cambridge as well! I’ve been a customer of Reiss for a long time and I can always find timeless pieces from their collections. The hat, I am wearing in this post, is a perfect fall/winter piece and will carry me through the NYC winter. I was also really excited to play with patterns and colors in this post. The entire look is black and white and offers two kinds of patterns, with the dress offering symmetry and the stilettos offering a funky look. I absolutely love the way they clash. Try incorporating some of these pieces into your look for fall and keep an eye out for the the latest collections coming out of London this week!
