Where to go wine tasting in Healdsburg: Orsi Family Vineyards
This winery is just off the main road of Healdsburg and offers an extremely home and cozy feel. It’s a family owned winery and has a large outdoor deck and lawn area for wine tasting and having picnics.
There is also an indoor wine bar with a small grocery section that are carefully curated Italian goods like pasta, olive oil (they make their own and it’s exceptional!), sauces and more! Step aside Eataly: this is a much more authentic and homey place to get your Italian speciality items!
They are also dog friendly and offer a picnic lunch – that you can enjoy on their lovely property.
Where to Wine taste in Geyserville: Trentadue Winery and Trione
Both in the small town of Geyserville – up the road from Orsi Vineyards are two other wineries to check out.
Trentadue has a sprawling vineyard where you can get a tour on their gondolas and really see the breadth of the property and the grapes up close.
There is also a tasting room and ample outdoor space to wine taste. There is also a massive outdoor lawn where weddings and other events are held.
Trione is a little more niche and has a great outdoor picnic area with bocce ball as well as a extremely unique barn room that is over a century old. It’s great for events.
These are all dog friendly wineries in the Sonoma County area.
Attire is casual but you can always dress up to enjoy your wine in style! Check out my post on what to wear to a winery for style suggestions!A
