Summer is right around the corner and it already feels like summer here in LA — super warm days are keeping me in dresses and sandals which are effectively my favorite summer styles!  Summer in LA means heading to the beach (I have friends who make it their weekend mission to be on the beach everyday over the weekend and they do it right!).  I was lucky to hit the beach in the photos above in Malibu — it was a somewhat overcast day but it was still an absolutely gorgeous backdrop and scene.  When you walk into the house and walk out to the backyard, it’s nothing but pure ocean, palm trees, and sand.  Also, you might notice that I’m glowing — well that’s because I was able to get a spray tan by Vita Liberata — they always look super natural and oh so summery!

Two Piece Sets

I love two piece sets for summer — a high waisted skirt and a cropped top, with a tie or a tassel is a great summer look (and the high waisted skirt takes care of any of the worries you might have about showing off parts of your stomach).  Actually these pieces are really flattering because you are showing off the smallest part of your waist (fact).

THAT Blogger Bag

Yes, the blogger bag that you saw on every IG post in 2017 is back with a vengeance.  I love the different colors and styles they have now — my homegirl Kat of Kat Walk SF was sporting a new style in SF (albeit she could not carry much in it!) . Let’s be honest, this bag is all about the style!

Prints and Pastels

Of course with summer styles comes a need for pretty pastels, florals and color!  All winter we opt for black and muted tones and keep these colors and patterns in the back of our closet — well let’s get them out!

Swim and Beachwear

Since I live in LA now and I will be at the beach most likely every weekend — I am for sure going to need some of these pieces!
