One of my favorite spring pieces is a denim skirt — it’s casual and can easily be dressed up.

Denim is nearly synonymous with this time of year — especially in climates where the summer turns to fall with a crisp coolness. 

Pro tip on how to style spring denim: layer the denim piece into your adding it to a off the shoulder top or loose fitting silk blouse.

You can also mix and match it with a knit top, long sleeve, or something more formal.  I’ve mixed my AG denim skirt with a Vince knitted top (so still very summery but with elements of fall).
