Never did I ever think I would have said “I’m going to the Peach Pit!” but by golly what modern marketing can do!

So in preparation for the new Beverly Hills, 90210 (newly minted: BH90210) the good people at Fox actually staged a weekend pop up of the one and only Peach Pit.

This was a central meet up for the characters on the show and served as the backdrop for many of the most memorable scenes.

It’s where Brandon served up mega burgers with a side of righteous advice (did he ever do anything wrong?!). It’s where Donna was serenaded by 90s boy band: Color Me Bad, it’s where Nat (Joe E. Tata) watched over the kids like Jim Walsh would. Where Brenda performed as her iconic waitress alter ego: “Laverne” and where Kelly cried when her dad stood her up and Dylan swooped in to make her feel better (ugh love triangle drama in full swing).

Save for the Walsh House, the Peach Pit was the most frequented place on the show. It made every real life group of friends want their own Peach Pit: even the insufferable cast of Vanderpump Rules claims Tom Tom is their version of the Peach Pit (completely a stretch in my opinion).

In any event, I paid homage to the Peach Pit this weekend in my full 90s regalia: printed mini dress, fanny pack, jean jacket, and Mary Jane shoes!

I knew going to the Peach Put pop would be fun but I didn’t realize it could make me so genuinely happy and giddy! Take a look at the awesome photos below and get excited for BH90210 to premiere back on August 7th (tonight!).
