Holiday Dresses in Central Park

Starbuck cups are circulating in red, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is just around the corner, along with Thanksgiving, and Black Friday, so this can only mean one thing: holiday parties and holiday dresses!  And luckily, I am putting together a holiday dress guide here on MSL for all your holiday party needs.

From your office cocktail party, to your significant other’s blow out party you are going to need a few holiday dresses to alternate between parties.

For this holiday look–which I posted a sneak peek of on my Instagram Style-Up–I am going for an unexpected twist.  It’s a unique take on your average holiday dress.  This is a deep v neck dress by (gasp!) Forever 21 and instead of wearing a tank top underneath or a sweater, which you could do for a daytime look, let’s sex it up a bit for that evening holiday party.  Adding a lacy bralette is the perfect way to add a sexy vibe and also style the look in a very chic and fashionable way.  This look is seamlessly sexy and adding a simple cape coat and a stappy stiletto is the perfect outfit.  The strappy stiletto is a great shoe for a holiday party, I love a pointy toed stiletto but a strappy heal like this Gianvito Rossi one creates a dainty look.

These stilettos were a recent gift to myself, they are navy and they are suede and they are everything I have ever wanted in a shoe.  However, they are not your walk around town shoe, they are the special occasion shoe that you wear to inside parties in the winter, and with shorts, and a loose blouse in the summer. They are a quality stiletto and I can’t wait to get a lot of use out of them.
