The waistline:

At first sight I couldn’t tell that this dress was going to be so fitted at the waist but once I tried it on, I loved how it hugged my torso perfectly.  Having a dress that accentuates a part of your body is always a great detail.

The color:

Maroon is my color!  I almost always end up picking out a piece that is in the maroon/purple family and I’m realizing that I happen to have several dresses that are some shade of maroon.  But, hey, if ain’t broke don’t fix it!

The v-neck:

The V-neck detail of the dress adds some sexiness to the look and you can add a dainty necklace to compliment that area.

The skirt:

This part of the dress brings an excellent element of contrast to the waist line.  Its dramatic flare starts right where the fitted waist ends and did I mention it has pockets?!  Super functional and fashionable.

Styling this dress is super simple and everyone needs that in the morning when getting ready for work.  Just add a simple necklace, a blazer or leather coat and some kind of spring/summer sandal as I have and you’re set for a very stylish day!
