The 2019 Honda Insight is here! It’s a fashion blogger/Honda Insight showdown — Texas style! 

Over the past weekend, I had the pleasure to travel to Austin, Texas to test drive the 2019 Honda Insight and it was an absolute blast. 

I did my best to match the car and its sleek look to my outfit — staying true to my fashion blogger roots!  (My Cult Gaia purse even fit right into the middle console of the car!)  I chose the white color to drive around in and I think the color really popped in photos and in person.  Not only did I get to test drive the car but I also attended the Austin City Limits Music Festival as a guest of Honda themselves (more on Austin and the festival in another post). 

The 2019 Honda Insight is a premium sedan that is sleek and modern.  It drives smoothly with all the modern technology needed for a driver today.  The technology was my favorite part of the car — drivers today really need all the technology packed into one and the Honda Insight has Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™.  For me, Apple CarPlay™ is an invaluable feature: you plug in your phone and all the features on your phone are now on the screen of the car.  Your texts, calls, contacts, maps, etc will pop up and it’s all voice activated so you can be handsfree!  (Don’t we love a good handsfree car ride!) Driving the Honda Insight around Austin was the perfect way to get to know the car and to take photos for Instagram and my blog.
