I’m getting ready for a trip to Miami this weekend and I am very excited!  Since I’m from the West Coast, Miami isn’t exactly in our backyard: Tahoe and Hawaii are more our speed.  So a visit to Manhattan’s sixth borough is long overdue!  Plus, I can do a refresher course on my Spanish speaking skills.

One of the best parts of travelling (at least as a style blogger) is preparing your outfits.  I have picked up a few new pieces and I am excited to mix and match looks and wear a bathing suit for the first time this season!  Every summer I get a couple of new suits and alternate them in with my old ones from the previous year.  Last year, I bought a blue Melissa Odabash suit and this year–I bought a somewhat similar one: the striped white and blue one featured above.  I also grabbed a new beach bag from Shopbop because my city tote just won’t due on Miami’s beachy shores.  My most coveted piece on this trip will certainly be the above Clover Canyon dress.  It’s is sexy and sultry and will be perfect for a Miami evening.

Voy a Miami este fin de semana y no puedo esperar.  Es mi primera vez en Miami y me traigo algunas cosas para la playa y el sol de Miami.  En las fotos arriba, les muestro mi traje del baño, mi sombrero de la playa, y la bolsa que voy a salir en la playa.  Tambien, salgo por la noche en el vestido por Clover Canyon–es muy sexy y los colores son perfecto para la noche en Miami.  Miren en las fotos sobre y abajo para encontrar ideas para sus vacaciones este verano–y no se olviden a seguirme en el Instagram para ver las fotos cuando estoy allí.
