Venice Beach nights — what a treat.  As much as I miss having a crisp morning with a hot coffee, during the holiday season in NYC,  romping around Venice Beach, in November, in a slip dress, barefoot, is sort of unbeatable.  Venice is seriously adorable from the main drag of Abbot Kinney with its cluster of shops and colors to the beach boardwalk, there is so much to do and see.

While I was there I met up with blogger pal Laurie Ferarro of The Rue Collective while she was out in LA for a visit from freezing NYC and we shopped on Abbot Kinney, drank coffee, and walked the palm tree lined streets.

Also…you may have noticed that the slip dress in the below photos has clearly become my favorite dress (I tend to buy a new piece and wear it several days in a row…it’s my thing).  In general, it’s kind of hard to not wear a dress that’s so comfortable, cute, and slips right on!  Ladies: I highly advise you purchasing it here!  I love that you can parade around the beach at the start of winter in LA and I’ll surely be shopping more summer type looks this season!
