Rome

Rome

Italy 2016 was an absolute pleasure. I drank, I ate, I toured…it was the perfect vacation. Starting in Rome to visit some of the most famous sights in the world, to a quick evening and night in Bologna, to a whirlwind couple of nights in Florence, and then lastly a couple of nights in stunning Venice. There were selfie sticks, portable chargers, Aperol spritz, lots of pasta and plenty of broken Italian so here is my first installment of my Italy trip: Rome! I had been to Rome ten years ago (almost down to the same days) and I was giddy to go back and see the city again with fresh eyes.  My junior year of college, I studied abroad in Valencia, Spain and a friend of mine (shout out to Riley!) was studying…

A Taste of Italy Tourism

Italy Tourism

Ciao Bellos!  I'm back from my trip to Italy (which you probably found out about if you follow me on Instagram and Snapchat)!  I have a lot of photos to sift through and I am excited to create all posts for you from what I wore, to what I ate, to where I toured.  So this is a preview of my trip in photos and much more to come! Enjoy! My first day in Rome, enjoying some wine in the Piazza Navona. What else but the magnificent Trevi Fountain in Rome! A delicious pizza in Florence plus an aperol spritz! Strolling Trastevere wearing: Club Monaco (top), Ariztia (shorts), Tory Burch (shoes), Loft (purse). A quiet little corner in Venice. This is just a sneak peek at some of the pictures from Italy...much more to…

Weekend Trips: Montreal

Weekend Trips Montreal

With the warm weather upon us weekend trips are the perfect antidote to the stressful work week and the routine of your day-to-day life.  I took it upon myself to take a mini trip to Montreal to experience some authentic French Canadian vibes, lots of poutine, and generally take in some Canadian living! So after visiting, I really am understanding just how French it is and I feel a little inept that I didn't realize that beforehand.  French is the first language and a friendly bartender informed me that business establishments there actually have to greet all customers in French first: it's a law! I believe the main reason for that is not because the general public does not speak English as well as French but more to keep the french language and culture…

A Snowy Central Park

Snowy Central Park

A Very Royal Snowy Shoot So Prince William and Duchess Kate may have posted the most adorable snow photos yesterday on their royal ski trip -- but little did they know that I had my own photo shoot in a snowy Central Park a few weeks ago.  Albeit, mine were minus 2 (royal) kids, a Prince and much less Duchessy...but I am throwing snowballs and even found some furry friends! Spring has Sprung? Clearly, Spring is on its way so my cold weather attire will soon be stored under my bed and in the back of my closet (can't say I'm too sad about that!) but taking these pictures in a snowy Central Park was the perfect farewell to winter.  Being able to see Central Park in the winter and spring is so inspiring…

Visit Berlin!

So I ended 2015 and started 2016 in Berlin with lots of fireworks and lots of all night shenanigans.  I had been to Berlin 10 years prior when I was studying abroad in Spain and was doing some European travel and it just so happens that I keep visiting Berlin in the winter (not gonna lie--I don't fully recommend visiting in the winter!).  Berlin is so cold--and not cold like oh I need a wool coat, even that won't do.  On my last day there it was 17 degrees (fahrenheit), so yes, it's the kind of cold that you probably wouldn't really be so inclined to leave the house during.  But alas, as a tourist and traveller, I wasn't going to spend the entire vacation inside. Even with its blistery cold days, there still…
