Farmer’s Market Fresh (Part 2)

The farmer’s market in Marin at the Marin Country Mart, was such a lovely place and set up!  It happens every Saturday and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to spend their Saturday outdoors with some food and music!  It had great produce, flowers, and made to order food.

First stop: flowers!  Since I’m clearly an experienced florist, I am picking the best of the bunch in this next photo ; ).  Besides the lovely blooms, the market had such vibrant fruits and fresh veggies that I couldn’t resist taking several photos of them and noshing on some.

An experienced florist making some serious decisions.  Obviously.   An experienced florist making some serious decisions.  Obviously. “Sir, are these flowers fresh? I meannnn really fresh?!” -Me getting to the bottom of how fresh these flowers are.  (If that wasn’t obvious.)

Some of the gorgeous fruits, veggies and more flowers at the market!

Real time farmer’s market shopping and decisions.

Decisions, Decisions. . . Decisions, Decisions. . . Getting cheeky with the CA flag, the USPS, and the USA. Getting cheeky with the CA flag, the USPS, and the USA.

After all the shopping, there were some sweets, libations, and caffeine at the Belcampo Meat Co.!  I love the ice cream being served in a cup-so country and cute!  The coffee was a throwback to a Spanish coffee called a ‘cortado,’ a small espresso with just a little steamed milk which is intended to ‘cut’ the espresso.  Starbucks: I see your Trenta and I raise you a cortado!

Hope you all have a great weekend! TGIF!
