So being that it is New Year Eve I figured that I would do a post on what to wear. Since this is one of the biggest party nights of the year it’s only appropriate that it is also a huge occasion to plan an outfit for; and we all know how much us ladies love to plan an outfit. So this year I did some shopping in my closet for the big night but just cause I didn’t buy a new dress doesn’t mean I didn’t do some window shopping.
Here are some of the items that caught my attention.

Exhibit A:

A layered pleated Parker dress. I found this monochromatic toned version at Barney’s Co-Op on sale (100 bucks-not bad at all). It’s a flirty dress, perfect for New Years. Just think of how fun it would be to dance around in this dress and have it swinging about? Also the pleats are exquisite. Keep in mind though that it is not a form-fitting dress and that’s the style. I personally would want the kelly green version of it I found, also on sale, at shopbop.com. I would pair it with a long black boyfriend blazer and these to-die-for Alexander Wang heels.

So same dress different color. Don’t forget to add some fun jewelry to really complete the look. Maybe some long gold necklaces layered on top of each other (I’m obviously keeping with the layered theme here).

Ok so the Parker dress is adrobs and also affordable (and the Wang shoes are also on sale, still a little pricey, but a sale is a sale-right?!) ha.

Now here is my ultimate pick if I were really going all out for New Years.

This look would really sparkle on New Year’s Eve.
